We’re thrilled to announce that Spencer is Lakefront’s Most Valuable Player for 2025! This annual award is a peer-voted honor, recognizing the individual who exemplifies and surpasses expectations in all four of Lakefront’s core values: Craftsmanship, Teamwork, Trust, and Professionalism. Spencer’s dedication, skill, and positive impact on every project made him the clear choice among his teammates.

What the MVP Award Represents

The MVP Award isn’t just about skill—it’s about living out our values every single day. It’s given to the team member who consistently demonstrates care for their craft, supports their teammates, earns trust through follow-through, and shows up with a professional, positive attitude on every project.

Spencer’s peers had plenty to say in their nominations, and the themes were consistent: pride in workmanship, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong team mindset. Here’s a sampling, exactly as submitted:

“Spencer always has a good attitude, which makes him easy to work with.”

“Spencer is consistently trying to further himself and perfect his craft. He is typically one of the first on site, always ready to work, and always has a good attitude. He is thorough and detailed in his work, never looking to cut corners. If he makes a mistake, he learns from it so he doesn’t repeat it. Spencer has consistently delivered this type of work ethic for years, and therefore should be considered as MVP.”

“Spencer has learned the most out of anyone else I have worked with that was ‘new.’ When we work together, most of the time he can read my mind and know what I need next.”

“Spencer always remembers to enter his time without being reminded and is continuously uploading pictures to JT.”

“Spencer is one of the most valuable team members on the job. He anticipates tasks that need to be done in advance. He has shown a tremendous amount of growth in his craftsmanship in his time with us. [He] is a strong team player and brings a positive mindset to the job every single day. [He] can be trusted to follow through on any tasks assigned and role expectations.”

When you read all these nominations together, it’s clear why Spencer stands out. He shows up early, takes pride in his work, continues to grow in his craft, and makes the job site better for everyone around him. He doesn’t just do what’s asked—he anticipates what’s needed. That combination of skill, teamwork, dependability, and professionalism perfectly embodies the MVP Award.

Attending the International Builders’ Show

As part of this recognition, Spencer will be attending the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Orlando next month. IBS is the largest annual gathering of home builders, remodelers, and industry professionals in the U.S., offering hundreds of educational sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and an expansive trade show floor filled with the latest tools, products, and innovations.

This is a unique opportunity for Spencer to learn from industry leaders, explore new building technologies, and bring back inspiration and ideas that will benefit our projects, clients, and team. Attending IBS reflects our commitment to growth, craftsmanship, and providing the best building experience for everyone involved in our projects.

Congratulations, Spencer!

Thank you for exemplifying Lakefront’s core values every day and helping us deliver excellence to our clients, teammates, and trade partners. Your dedication, skill, and positivity make a difference every day, and we’re proud to have you on our crew.
